COSPA has a new cancellation policy for swim lessons. To ensure more equitable access to swim lessons, lessons must be paid for at the time of registration. Swim lessons are not refundable or transferable.
Pool Features
Stanley Park Outdoor Swimming Pool is operated by Benchmark Properties Ltd. in partnership with the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association. Stanley Park Outdoor pool has two separate pools. All pools are heated, filtered and sanitized 24 hours per day.
Main Pool
- Eight lane, 25 meter long pool
- 1.0 meter depth in shallow end of the pool
- 1.8 meter depth in deep end of the pool
- One above deck water slide, 1.8 meter high
Splash Basin - Wading Pool and Spray Deck
- Zero depth entry at shallow end of the pool
- 0.6 meter depth in deep end of the pool
- Water spray ring and 5 floor spray nozzles
Facility
- Change rooms for men and women
- Coin-operated lockers (requires a quarter) or bring your own lock (all locks must be removed after use)
- Temperature controlled showers
- Bathrooms
Concession
- Concession sells prepackaged foods and drinks, hot and cold.
Lifeguard Supervision
- All pools are supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times.

Pool Rentals
Stanley Park Outdoor Pool offers private rentals weekday evenings and weekend mornings/evening:
- Monday through Friday evenings from 8:45pm to 9:45pm
- Weekend evenings from 8pm to 9:30pm
- Weekend mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm
Rentals are available weekend mornings from 9am to noon, week day evenings from 8:45pm to 9:45pm, and weekend evenings from 8pm to 9:30pm. Private rentals can be booked through the registration page. The cost is $180 per hour on weekdays and $225 per hour on weekends for the main pool, for up to 40 people. Also booking the tot pool is an extra $50 per hour. If more than 40 people will be in attendance, you must indicate that when booking the rental and pay an additional $50 surcharge.
