Pool Features
Bowview Outdoor Swimming Pool has 2 heated, filtered and sanitized pools. We accept cash, debit and credit!
Pool Rules
- All children under the age of 8 must be within arms reach at all times.
- Lifejackets available free of charge.
- Children under 14 must show lifeguard they can safely swim 1 length to enter deep end.
Main Pool
- Six lane 25 meter lap pool with a deep end
- 1.0 meter depth in shallow end
- 3.05 meter depth in deep end
- 1.8 meter high on-deck waterslide
Wading Pool
- Depth is .45 meters
- Mushroom Waterfall
Facility
- Change Rooms for Women and Men
- Coin Operated Lockers (requires a quarter)
- Temperature controlled showers
- Bathrooms
Concession
- Concession sells prepackaged foods and drinks, hot and cold.
Lifeguard Supervision
- The pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards during business hours.
Swimming Lessons
Bowview Outdoor Swimming Pool will be offering the following Lifesaving Society Programs: Preschool, Swimmer and Patrol. Lesson Registration Opens May 23rd at 8am.
- Swimming lessons are available throughout the summer in 5-day sessions.
- Swimming lessons run from 9:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Friday.
- Each level of swimming lessons will be available during each session, so long as the minimum number of swimmers are registered.
- Private and semi-private lessons are available upon request.
- Advanced Courses Offered this Summer: Bronze Medallion and CPR, Alberta Workplace Approved Standard First Aid and Bronze Cross.
Pool Rentals
Have you ever wanted to have the entire pool to yourself? Bowview Outdoor Pool offers private rentals in the evenings:
- Monday-Thursday 8:30pm-9:30pm
- Fri-Sun 7:15pm-8:15pm or 8:30pm-9:30pm (7:15pm-9:15pm if booking for 2 hours)
- Saturday mornings from 10:30-11:30am or 11:00am-12:00pm.
Please contact the pool or email the pool manager for more information on pool rentals; dates and times. Contact details are listed above. Rental Costs for 2023 are $175/hr for 1-40 people and $260/hr for 41-80 people.
