Seasonal Swimming Pool Employment

Hiring for the summer outdoor swimming season is well underway and COSPA continues to accept applications for swimming pool positions, and then share these applications with the eight COSPA pools.

The outdoor swim season starts mid-June and ends on Labour Day (the first Monday in September). Hiring typically occurs from January to March. Please send your job application outlining all of your qualifications and experience. Note that all lifeguarding certifications must be current at the time of hiring and must remain current.

COSPA partners with not-for-profit community associations and private contractors to operate the eight outdoor pools that COSPA manages. All résumés/applications submitted through the COSPA website are circulated to all of the Pool Directors for their consideration. Please refer to the individual pool description pages for more information on each pool’s management.

Applicants will only be contacted by one of the Pool Directors if they are interested in interviewing you for a position.

Outdoor Pool Supervisor

The outdoor pool will be operational for 80 days until Labor Day. Job responsibilities include managing budgets for operations and capital expenditures, ensuring efficient use of staff resources through scheduling, maintaining cash control, and performing administrative duties.
