Public Swim is available to book 3 days before any given date, at 7AM that day
NEW! Swim Lesson Policy — NO CANCELLATIONS!
COSPA has a new cancellation policy for swim lessons. To ensure more equitable access to swim lessons, lessons must be paid for at the time of registration. Swim lessons are not refundable or transferable.
Pool Features
Forest Lawn Outdoor Swimming Pool is operated by Benchmark Properties Ltd. in partnership with the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association. Forest Lawn Outdoor Swimming Pool has two pools – a main pool and a wading pool. Both pools are heated, filtered and sanitized 24 hours per day.
Main Pool
- Eight lane, 25 meter lap pool
- 1.0 meter depth in shallow end
- 1.5 meter depth in deep end
- 1.8 meter high on deck water slide
Wading Pool and Spray Park
- Zero depth entry
- Depth is .50 meters
- Water Spray Ring and 5 floor spray nozzles
Facility
- Change Rooms for Women and Men
- No coin operated lockers on site, it is recommended you bring your belongings on deck with you
- Temperature controlled showers
- Bathrooms
Concession
- Concession sells prepackaged foods and drinks cash and debit (over $5.00 only please).
Lifeguard Supervision
- The pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards during business hours.
Public Swim
- Forest Lawn Pool offers public swim daily. All children under the age of 8 must be within arm's reach at all times. Life jackets available free of charge.
Programs at Forest Lawn Outdoor Pool
- Daily Public Swim: All children under the age of 8 must be within arm's reach at all times. Lifejackets available free of charge.
- Lifesaving Society swimmer level lessons between 11am-2pm Mon-Fri in July/Aug.
Pool Rentals
Forest Lawn Outdoor Pool offers private rentals:
- Monday to Sunday evenings from 8:00pm-9:30pm
- Weekend mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm
Rentals are available weekend mornings from 9am to noon and every evening from 8pm to 9:30pm. Private rentals can be booked through the registration page. Rentals are $120 per hour for the main pool and $140 per hour for both pools, for up to 40 people. If more than 40 people will be in attendance, you must indicate that when booking the rental, and pay an additional $50 surcharge.
