Forest Lawn Outdoor Wading Pool Update

We regret to announce that the Forest Lawn Wading Pool will be closed for the balance of the season due to mechanical issues.

Highwood Outdoor Swimming Pool is operated by the Highwood Community Association in partnership with the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association.

Highwood Outdoor Swimming Pool has 2 pools. All pools are heated, filtered and sanitized 24 hours per day:

Main Pool

  • Eight lane, 25 meter lap pool
  • 1.0 meter depth in shallow end
  • 1.5 meter depth in deep end
  • 1.8 meter high on deck water slide

Wading Pool

  • Depth is .45 meters

Change Rooms for Women and Men

  • Coin Operated Lockers (requires a quarter) or bring your own lock (all locks must be removed after use of the locker)
  • Temperature controlled showers
  • Bathrooms

Concession

  • Concession sells prepackaged foods and drinks

Lifeguard Supervision

  • All pools are supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times

Highwood Outdoor Swimming Pool offers the Red Cross Swimmng Program.
